voco the Clair Cincinnati Downtown by IHG

I had previously stayed at this hotel under different management and had a horrible experience. The new management and service was great. FOOD: The breakfast was good with great variety and great service. One concern, there was fruit available, but the bananas and tangerines were old and should have been changed out regularly. The dinner menu at the restaurant had variety but was pricey. ROOM: The rooms were spacious clean, and stocked with amenities. The only concern was the daily maid service seemed optional. They didn't clean every day which was fine, but that was not advertised as optional or I would have emptied my own trash. OVERALL EXPERIENCE: I would recommend Voco the Clair and I would stay here again. It was on close proximity to work and food locations. The staff was friendly. The rooms were nice, the showers had great pressure, and the bed was extremely comfortable. I would stay here again.

I was told this is a newer hotel, visiting family here from Florida, loved the aesthetics, the Pennyflower restaurant downstairs, the staff was friendly, clean rooms, even the key cards were unique wood like very cool giving 4 stars because there’s no parking and you have to pay to park in the parking garage and they don’t validate. But the location is perfect if you don’t mind just walking the city everything is close by

Had a wonderful stay at the Voco. This hotel is very clean and modernized. Updates appear to have been recent or are holding up very well. The hotel smelled very nice upon entry and in our room. The staff was friendly and greeted us each time we entered the lobby, and were helpful with questions we had for food in the area or places to go. The rooms were very clean and well appointed, the bathroom was spotless and modern. We also had some drinks at the hotel bar, which was very sleek, and the female bartender on staff was friendly. There's a parking garage next door which is convenient, however the hotel does not validate parking. Parking is around $12 per day. The location of the hotel is good, a lot of bars and restaurants to choose from within a 5-10 min walk. It too approx 15-20 mins to walk to the football stadium. And about 10 mins to walk to the Hard Rock Casino. There's also scooters around the city which makes getting around faster. Would highly recommend this hotel to stay at for couples, families and work outings.

Excellent choice, we stayed with friends and had never been to this brand before as we are usually Hilton branded. Rooms and beds are very comfortable shower was very spacious and we had no issues with temperature. We visited the bar and the service was superb! Jessica at the bar was very efficient and helpful. We did not dine here but everything looked excellent.

I've stayed here at least half a dozen times now for work. So that should tell you something! Not a bad experience here. The whole hotel smells amazing, the beds are some of the most comfortable of the hotels I've been in. There is a pool and a small exercise room. Breakfast is a buffet, its like $14 or something. I drool over the food from Penny Flower (the restaurant downstairs). I've tried quite a few things on the menu and have loved them all! There isn't much that is worth going to immediately around (Italian restaurant, Gastropub, and boxing gym), which is why I gave 4 starts there. But it's easy to jump on a scooter and get to where you want to go!

This is the hotel we choose when visiting Cincinnati. In the past year it went through an upgrade and is now a Voco by IHG vs. Holiday Inn by IHG. The new look is modern and sophisticated. The breakfast was good. We were upgraded to a corner suite due to my IHG rewards status and enjoyed the massive corner room with views of the city. The bed was comfortable, and the shower was rejuvenating. The staff was very professional. There are two parking garages steps away, plus a large parking lot down the street.

This hotel has been beautifully renovated. Clean, spacious rooms, friendly staff and easy parking. There is a garage attached and valet wasn’t bad for downtown.

Stayed at the Voco the Clair downtown Cincinnati. The hotel is very nice. The check-in area is spacious and the employees were friendly and efficient. The lobby is tastefully decorated and has comfortable furniture. They have an excellent bar and restauarant with a nice breakfast. The room was larger then most standard hotel rooms and the thermostat worked well. The hotel was very quiet and well maintained. I would stay here again.
